Not everybody has a blog yet. I heard of a friend's 89-year old grandma who doesn't. So I'm not the last!
What I'm thinking is this: a blog might save the massive amount of time I spend on the actual email aspect of my eBayLady newsletter. Writing is fun. Sharing information is fun. Managing all those email addresses is not. Or as my teens would say, "Managing all those email addresses is like SO NOT FUN!" So I'll give a blog a little try.
My eBay comment today: Pulse. Have you heard of it? www.ebay.com/pulse. It's where you can see the most watched items on eBay. It used to be fun but that's changing. Now there are organized watching rings and people begging each other to hit "watch". I hear there's even a group allegedly charging $400 to advertise your auctions and try to get them on Pulse.
Pulse used to show you what were truly interesting items. Now they're all those ludicrous "look at how clever I am" things. Beer glasses. Mystery boxes. "advertise on my...." Gag me. I miss the good old days of "Hi! My name is Bambi and I'm an 18-year old college freshman who needs money, so me and my roommates decided to sell you guys our used panties!" Now that was creative fiction!
